think
you need
a doctor
when the
surgery
is
closed,
you
should
stay at
home and
telephone
the
usual
surgery
phone
number
on
(01274)
662441.
You will
be given
a number
by our
answer
machine
and a
message
explaining
how to
contact
the Out
of Hours
Service.
For out
of
hours'
emergencies
in the
evenings
or at
weekends,
you may
be
requested
by the
Emergency
On Call
Service
to visit
a centre
provided
by the
Out of
Hours
service.
A doctor
will
still do
a home
visit if
after
consultation
with you
it is
thought
necessary.
For
simple
problems
you may
be
offered
telephone
advice.
Please
note -
patients
will
only be
seen at
the
centres
if they
have
been
given an
appointment
by the
Emergency
Service.

Please
note
that the
local
hospital
accident
and
emergency
should
not be
used in
any
circumstance
other
than an
emergency
–
irresponsible
use of
this
facility
results
in long
delays
for
treatment
with the
possibility

of a
real
