SEEING THE PRACTICE NURSES

Practice Nurses are available by appointment for:

• Blood pressure monitoring
• Dressings
• Travel advice and injections
• MOT – this is a general health check
• Ear syringing
• Cryotherapy for warts and verrucas (Thursday afternoon only)
• Blood tests – please note all blood tests have to be taken in the morning

Please tell the receptionist the reason for your appointment request so that the correct amount of time and the appropriate clinic may be allocated.

SEEING THE MIDWIFE

The midwife has two clinics a week and books them herself. If you are pregnant you must first see the doctor who will then refer you to the midwife for your continuing care.

SEEING THE HEALTH VISITORS

The health visitors hold a weekly well baby clinic on a Monday 1.00pm – 2.30pm (no appointment necessary) and assessment clinics by appointment at other times.
